Fourth Lake, Potash and Pinxters

People who live on Fourth Lake have a special love of this body of water and had encouraged me to paint it. I had only seen the view from the public beach and although it is scenic it looks like any other Adirondack lake. My husband and I finally took a walk on a trail that circles the lake and were surprised and pleased to see this great view of one of our favorite mountains - Potash. As a bonus, there were wild azaleas or pinxters growing all along the shoreline. A scene definitely worth painting!
